Web-Based Training

As part of its on-going commitment to providing quality education to the industry, the NKBA is providing web-based training as one of its delivery systems for its educational offerings. These offerings will be in two general formats: Web-based seminars and Web-based courses.

  1. Web-Based Seminars: These web-based seminars, or “webinars,” will be one-hour sessions, led by experienced NKBA instructors and other industry leaders and will cover a wide array of subjects. Not only will these webinars provide an excellent and convenient opportunity to hear and discuss an assortment of topics, but they are a great way to earn NKBA CEUs. Each webinar will qualify for .1 CEU and 1 NKBA hour.

    Pricing:
    Members: $100 per class
    Non-Members: $125 per class

  2. Web-Based Courses: Selected NKBA courses will be offered via multiple web-based sessions beginning in 2008. This option will provide our members with a convenient, cost-effective alternative to traveling to and attending some of our courses in a traditional classroom setting. These courses will be divided into 90-minute segments and will be presented usually one day a week over several weeks.

To participate in web-based training, you will need high speed internet access and a telephone. Both Windows and MAC users may participate. The first time you sign in to participate in one of our WBT sessions, our service provider will download some software onto your computer. This should only take a few minutes, but can take longer with poor internet response time. Please refer to the link below for additional information. These offerings will be updated on a continual basis. You can also enroll in these sessions via this website or by calling NKBA’s Customer Service at (800) THE-NKBA.
