Hackettstown, NJ (May 21, 2007) - Sustainable design is one of the fastest growing segments in the kitchen and bath industry and there is a significant professional move toward specifying and building spaces that offer superior indoor air quality and energy efficiency. To help kitchen and bath professionals understand their options in creating more environmentally sustainable kitchens and baths, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is offering MasterClass Conference: Green Fusion II to be held July 19 - 20, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
NKBA MasterClass Conference is a high-end educational symposium that explores the growing trend of incorporating sustainable building principles into innovative and attractive kitchens and baths. In addition to the conference sessions, eco-friendly products will be on display throughout the event. Attendees will have an opportunity to experience many of these environmentally responsible goods and services firsthand.
Helping to make this year's conference a reality, the NKBA would like to thank Whirlpool Corporation and TOTO, Platinum Partners of MasterClass Conference: Green Fusion II, and BOSCH/BSH Appliances, a Gold Partner.
From cabinets and countertops to lighting and fixtures, green design can have a huge impact on the way professionals design, build and equip kitchens and baths. Well-informed green design can enhance the sustainability, livability and aesthetics of kitchens and baths, but sustainable building requires thorough planning, thoughtful design and quality construction. For MasterClass Conference: Green Fusion II, the NKBA has again selected several professionals who are experts in sustainability to focus on advances in technology, products and design.
The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, the only four-diamond hotel in Albuquerque. The Hyatt is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just five minutes from the airport. For further information about the event and the MasterClass speakers, please visit the NKBA web site at www.nkba.org.
