Call For Papers On Kitchen And Bath Design

Hackettstown, NJ (July 16, 2007) - The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) in collaboration with the Housing Education and Research Association (HERA) announces a call for papers on kitchen and bath design. Selected papers will be published in Housing and Society, the official journal of HERA. The journal is distributed to HERA members as well as libraries around the world. Additional copies of this special issue will be distributed through the NKBA.
The HERA journal publication will be a special issue dedicated to kitchen and bath design in the home, tentatively scheduled for publication in Fall, 2008. Papers published will be authored primarily by NKBA Endorsed Programs educators, NKBA member adjunct faculty and HERA members. The submission deadline is April 1, 2008.
Papers can be based on traditional research, educational strategies or commentary notes, ranging in length from 5 to 30 pages. Possible topics include sustainable design, technology in kitchens and baths, universal design, industry trends, best practices and teaching methods and techniques.
