Industry expert Maria Martina of Reno's Appliance, Inc. in Fairfield, New Jersey is selected for 2008 national leadership position -
FAIRFIELD, N.J. - Maria Martina, CKD, CBD, custom appliance consultant at state-of-the-art appliance showroom Reno's Appliance, Inc., has been named the 2008 Treasurer of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). Ms. Martina, a knowledgeable, experienced design professional, brings more than 20 years experience in the kitchen and bath industry to the NKBA's Executive Committee.
Ms. Martina will work with other senior executives within the NKBA to determine policies and influence the decisions of the 40,000 national NKBA members in more than 70 local chapters across the United States and Canada. Ms. Martina and her colleagues will also serve as ambassadors to international and national societies in the building and design fields, and will continue to support and lead the burgeoning $265 billion kitchen and bath industry.
Involved in her regional NKBA chapter for many years, Ms. Martina has previously held numerous internal positions including President of the Northern New Jersey NKBA chapter. She has also participated on the national level for 6 years, including on the Board of Chapter Representatives, the Ad Hoc Governance Committee and the Board of Directors. The NKBA is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the kitchen and bath industry, and serves as the leading source of information and education for consumers and professionals alike.
